M3 Motorway Southbound Lanes Closed following Collision

Two lanes of a major Hampshire motorway have been closed this lunchtime following an earlier incident involving a car and van. Drivers are facing long delays after a crash on the blocked two lanes. The collision happen between junctions 11 for Winchester and 12 for Otterbourne (southbound) just after 11.20am. The outside and middle lanes are currently blocked with long queue developing. Driver are reporting delays are stretching back past the southbound entry slip road at junction 10. The collision is an add on to misery driver faced this morning following a collision on the A33: Fire Crews from Winchester and Eastleigh attended this morning, Two persons released by crews using specialist cutting equipment and left in the care of South Central ambualnce service.
