Construction has officially started on a massive new industrial and logistics hub at Immingham, marking one of the biggest local developments this year.

Helm @ Immingham: Phase One Underway

Associated British Ports (ABP) has broken ground on the first phase of its Helm @ Immingham scheme. The project sits on a sprawling 227-acre site near the A180, nestled between Grimsby and Immingham’s port complex.
The project also features renewable energy solutions and plans to improve biodiversity, fitting into ABP’s broader sustainability aims.

ABP has enlisted agents JLL, Gent Visick, and PPH to market the speculative units, expanding its property portfolio in the process.

Land Set for Industrial Use, Ready for Takeoff

  • The site has been earmarked for employment use for more than 10 years.
  • It already benefits from approvals for access roads and industrial activity.
  • Previously, the land was used for farming.

This initiative signals a major boost for local jobs and business opportunities, putting Immingham firmly on the industrial map for years to come.
