A man has been found guilty of murdering his girlfriend in a brutal stabbing at Crawley station.
Jason Flore, 26, was convicted of murder after stabbing 19-year-old Stephanie Marie through the heart in the station’s car park. The tragic incident has left the local community in shock.
The attack occurred in broad daylight, with witnesses describing chaotic scenes as emergency services rushed to the scene. Despite the efforts of paramedics, Stephanie was pronounced dead shortly after the attack.

Flore, who was arrested at the scene, showed no emotion as the verdict was read out. The jury took just a few hours to find him guilty of the fatal stabbing.
He is due to be sentenced on Thursday, with prosecutors expected to seek a life sentence.
‘A Young Life Taken Too Soon’
Friends and family of Stephanie Marie paid tribute to her outside the court, describing her as a “kind, vibrant young woman with her whole life ahead of her.”
“She was loved deeply and had so many dreams. Her life was taken in a moment of senseless violence,” said her mother in an emotional statement.
Community Impact and Sentencing Ahead
The murder has sparked conversations in Crawley about relationship violence and the importance of community support for young women facing abuse.
Local authorities have offered counseling and support services to those affected by the incident and have urged anyone experiencing domestic abuse to seek help.
Jason Flore will return to court on Thursday for sentencing, where the judge is expected to deliver a strong message about the consequences of such violent crimes.
