A 25-year-old man has been hospitalized following a stabbing incident early on New Year’s Day near Bond Street Underground Station in central London.
Incident Details
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) and Metropolitan Police were called to the junction of South Malton Street and Oxford Street at approximately 4:04 AM on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, after reports of men armed with knives.
Emergency services arrived at the scene within minutes. A spokesperson for the LAS said:
“We were called at 4:06 AM to reports of a stabbing. Our crews treated a man at the scene before taking him to the hospital. The first of our crews arrived in four minutes.”

Police Investigation
Officers from the Metropolitan Police established a crime scene, which remains in place as investigations continue. No arrests have been made at this early stage.

A police spokesperson added:
“An investigation is underway, and we urge anyone with information to contact us by calling 101, quoting reference 2175/01JAN. Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
