A tragic incident that occurred nearly two and a half years ago on the M26 in Kent has finally led to the imprisonment of Nigel Butler, 57, of The White House Headcorn Road, Maidstone. Butler has been formally sentenced after pleading guilty to two counts of death by dangerous driving, resulting in the loss of two lives.
On 15th October 2020, Butler was driving a mechanically propelled vehicle, dangerously on the coast-bound carriageway of the M26 at Wrotham, leading to a fatal collision. His reckless actions caused the death of two individuals, David Boaler and Reece Watson.
