A man has been remanded in custody after being charged with the attempted murder of a 23-year-old woman in Crawley. The incident, which occurred on Tuesday, June 25, prompted a swift response from officers following a report of a disturbance at a residence.
After an investigation led by Crawley’s Safeguarding Investigation Unit, Alex Powell, of no fixed address, faces charges including attempted murder, intentional suffocation, and assault on an emergency worker.
[block_2]Appearing before Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, June 27, Powell was remanded in custody pending a hearing at Lewes Crown Court scheduled for July 25.
