Axel Torres-Vargas, a 21-year-old Mexican exchange student and London-based medical student, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison, with an additional five years on the license, for committing seven child sex offences in Norwich. The sentencing took place at Norwich Crown Court on Tuesday, December 19, following Torres-Vargas’s admission of guilt during a previous hearing.

Torres-Vargas pleaded guilty to several charges, including arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence, three counts of distributing indecent photographs of a child, and three counts of making indecent photographs of a child. Additionally, he was given an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order by Norfolk Constabulary.
