A murder investigation is underway following a triple shooting in Harlesden that left a woman in her 40s dead and two men injured.


A woman who is understood to be a mother of two in her 40s tragically died at the scene, while two men in their 30s were rushed to hospital. One man is in critical condition, fighting for his life, while the other is being treated for injuries that are not life-threatening.

The gunman remains at large as detectives continue their investigation.

Road closures remained in place on Sunday morning (December 15) as forensic teams worked to gather evidence and piece together the events leading to the attack.

Police Appeal

Superintendent Tony Josephs from the North West Command Unit, which covers Brent, issued a statement:
“This is a truly shocking incident that has left a woman dead and two others injured, and I understand the concern this will cause the local community and those across London. A family has been left devastated, and we need to work together to provide them with answers.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward. A Met Police spokesperson added:
“If you were in or around Gifford Close at the time of the shooting, or have any information about who was responsible, please get in contact with us.”
