Murder Investigation Launched After Woman Found Stabbed in Carshalton
A murder investigation is underway following the discovery of a woman with fatal stab wounds in Carshalton, South London.
The Incident
Police were called at approximately 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 19, to reports of a woman found injured inside a property on Nutfield Close.
Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service, attended the scene, but the victim was sadly pronounced dead.
Victim Identified
The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Gemma Devonish, though formal identification has not yet been completed. Her family has been informed and is being supported by specially trained officers.
