Officers investigating a murder in Aylesbury, have confirmed the identity of the victim – UKNIP

 

Police were called to reports of a large fight in Lembrook Walk, Aylesbury, on Wednesday evening (28/10).

Sadly, a man who was injured in the incident died in hospital.

He has now been identified as Amir Shafique, aged 22, from Aylesbury.

Amir’s family are being supported by specially trained officers and we would ask that their privacy continues to be respected at this extremely difficult time.

A Home Office post-mortem examination was conducted on Friday, the results of which are pending further medical opinion.

Two men, both from Aylesbury, have been charged with murder and have been remanded in custody.

Seven other men, all from Aylesbury and arrested in connection with the incident, have been released on conditional police bail.
