Ambulance Technician assaulted in Dibden Purlieu

Police are appealing for information after an ambulance technician was assaulted in Dibden Purlieu. At some time between 7.40pm and 7.50pm on Monday, February 29 the ambulance technician was in an alleyway between Challenger Place and Cosworth Drive, off of Challenger Way. He was approached by two men who shouted verbal abuse at him. He was then assaulted. During the attack he was cut with a sharp object receiving minor injuries to his face and arm. Following the assault both assailants ran off towards Cosworth Drive. One of the men is described as: white, aged 22 to 24, 5ft 10ins, with brown hair, of ‘scrawny’ build, wearing a white top with a blue stripe horizontally across the front, blue jeans and white Adidas trainers. The second man is described as: white, aged 22 to 24 or slightly younger, 6ft 1ins, of scrawny build and wearing a black hoody with an oriental motif on the front.
