A pedestrian has been taken to hospital following a serious crash involving a bus on New Romney High Street this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the A259 near Tritton Lane at approximately 4:05pm, where a collision between a bus and a pedestrian resulted in a partial road closure. The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance attended the scene alongside ambulance crews and police.
The patient, whose condition has not yet been confirmed, was treated at the scene before being transported by road to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford for further medical care.
