Scheduled maintenance and improvement works are set to take place on parts of the M25, A2, and A21, primarily during the evenings between 8pm and 6am. Commuters should be prepared for potential delays and diversions, particularly during the early morning hours, as closures may be in effect from the previous evening.

It’s crucial to check for the latest updates and plan your journey accordingly to minimize inconvenience.

Here’s what you need to know about the scheduled roadworks for each major route:

  • Additional anticlockwise closures on Friday include the junction 26 entry slip road and the junction 3 exit slip road.
  • Clockwise, there will be a carriageway closure from junction 27 to junction 28 from 11pm on Friday to 6am on Saturday.
  • Over the weekend, the junction 6 to M11 southbound link road will be closed in the anticlockwise direction for testing works.

  • Westbound closures from Bean to Darenth will also occur during the same time period, with diversions in place.
  • Additional closures include the westbound Three Crutches roundabout to M2 link road and the westbound Tollgate entry slip road.

A21:

  • Carriageway improvements will take place in both directions from Hurst Green to Baldslow on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 8pm to 6am the following day.
  • Diversions will be implemented to manage traffic flow during the closures.
