Police in Reading want to talk to two men about a burglary that has taken place

Police have released CCTV images of two men officers would like to speak to in connection with a burglary that took place in Tilehurst. On Thursday 27 June at around 2.50pm, two men were seen to approach a house on Halls Road. One of the men stood watch, whilst the other tampered with the lock and then kicked the front door of the property to gain entry. The second man then entered the property and was inside for approximately seven minutes. He was seen to leave with a laptop bag which contained a dark grey Hewlett Packard laptop. The men were then seen walking towards the roundabout that splits Langley Hill, Park Lane and Halls Road. Investigating officer PC Petar Stoyanov, based at Newbury police station, said: “I am releasing these images as I believe that these men may have information that is vital to this investigation. “I urge anyone who recognises these men to contact police on the 24-hour non-emergency number 101 quoting reference ‘43190194839’ or to make a report online. “Alternatively, reports can be made anonymously via independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
