Police have launched an investigation following a disturbing incident where a man was assaulted and robbed in Station Parade, Barking.
The incident occurred around 2am on Wednesday, 28 February, prompting a swift response from officers after receiving reports that the victim had been struck over the head with an object and relieved of cash.
According to reports, the suspect is described as a black male, aged in his early to late 20s, sporting short braided hair and wearing a black jacket.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the case, but police reassured the public that active inquiries are underway to apprehend the perpetrator.
