Police Manhunt Launched In Locating Man Charged With Random Attacks In Leeds City Centre

The police are appealing for information that could help trace a man who failed to appear at court after being charged in connection with a series of random attacks on members of the public in Leeds city centre. Hardeep Garcha, a 32-year-old resident of Bradford, has been wanted since his failure to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court on July 10 of this year.

Garcha was charged with Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent, Section 47 actual bodily harm, and a racially aggravated public order offence. These charges stem from incidents that occurred on November 11 last year in Heaton’s Court and Leeds train station. One victim suffered a broken jaw, while another sustained severe bruising.
