CCTV Images Released Following Attempted Robbery at Chester Road Station

Detectives investigating an attempted robbery at Chester Road station have released CCTV images of two men they believe could help with their investigation.

The incident occurred at around 9:30 pm on Wednesday, 21 August. Two men approached the victim while he was using the ticket machine on the concourse. One of the suspects attempted to grab the victim’s bag, and when the victim resisted, he was punched in the face. Meanwhile, the second man kept watch at the top of the stairs leading to the concourse.

Detectives are asking the public for help identifying the men in the images, as they may have information that could be vital to the investigation.

If you recognize the men, you are urged to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 833 of 21 August.
