Kent Police are appealing for information after a man reported being raped while walking on the promenade in Margate on Tuesday, 21 January 2025.
Incident Details
The alleged assault occurred between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on the stretch of the promenade between the Lido and Newgate Gap, near Ethelbert Crescent. The victim reported being approached by another man, who then carried out the assault.
Suspect Description
The suspect is described as:
- Slim build
- Under 5ft 5ins tall
- Believed to be in his early 20s
- Wearing a black hooded coat, black tracksuit, and black trainers
