Driver Freed after Flipping Car In The Village Of Upham

Emergency services have been called this evening to the outskirts of Bishops Waltham town,to the village of Upham following a road traffic collision on Church Street. The driver of Skoda Estate a man in his late fifties is believed to have hit a parked car and flipped his car on to its side and ploughed into a garden fence. A man in his 50s has been released from the vehicle by fire crews and strapped on to a spinal board just after 10.40pm. The man has been left in the care of South Central ambulance service, His injuries are not thought to be serious The road remains closed in both directions whilst a clean up and recovery operation takes place. A spokesperson for South Central Ambulance Service said a car had gone into the back of a stationary vehicle and overturned. An ambulance officer, a hazardous area response team, a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew were all sent to the incident and are still treating an elderly man at the scene. https:///youtu.be/NXBgH7cHg9A
