The distressed couple were in an inflatable dinghy in windy conditions.
They rescued them and deflated the dinghy before taking them back to the lifeboat station.
The woman was very shaken and cold but both casualties were warmed up and checked over. Fortunately, she had taken her mobile phone with her and was able to call the coastguard for help.
