Tesco Worker Injured in ‘Chemical Incident’ in Dagenham

A Tesco Express worker in Dagenham has been taken to hospital after being sprayed with a substance in what is being described as a “chemical incident.”

An LFB spokesperson stated: “Firefighters delivered immediate emergency care on-scene to one man and worked to make the scene safe. The brigade was called at 3:53 PM and the incident was over for firefighters at 4:25 PM.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where his injuries have been confirmed as non-life-threatening. Police enquiries are underway to identify and apprehend the suspect.
