The tense standoff at an address in Daneby Road SE6 has come to an end as officers forced entry into the property and made an arrest in the early hours of Thursday, 28 March.

Authorities were alerted to the situation around 2am, acting on suspicions of threats to cause criminal damage with intent to endanger life. A 26-year-old man was apprehended at the scene. However, the arrest did not come without incident, as the suspect sustained a foot injury from a police dog during the operation. As a precautionary measure, he was transported to the hospital for medical attention.
