These Are Some Of The Closures Planned For The M20, A2 And  A2070 In #kent

The M20 coastbound between junctions 7 & 9 is closed every night from 2 December (8pm to 6am) until Sunday 11 December. It will stay closed during the day & night on Sunday 11 & reopen 6am on Monday 12.

The M20 London bound will be closed from 9pm Thursday 8 to 6am Friday 9 December between junctions 9 & 8 & again from 9pm Sunday 11 December to 6am Monday 12.

This is to complete our resurfacing work & deploy Operation Brock. When the M20 reopens on Monday 12 December the Brock contraflow will be in place.

The coastbound slip roads @ M2 junction 5 remain closed.

There are also aseries of weekend closures of the A249 north of the Stockbury roundabout for drainage work.

A2 Hall Road junction resurfacing – Sunday 4 and Sunday 18 December
• Sunday 4 December – the London bound A2 at  Hall Road junction 8pm til 4am
• Sunday 18 December – the coastbound A2 at Hall Road junction 10pm til 6am

For the coastbound closure, a signed diversion will be in place via the A2260, Thames Way, A226, A227 and Wrotham Road. For the London-bound closure, the diversion route is the same but in reverse.

A2 Bean & Ebbsfleet – Monday 5 to Friday 9 December

The coastbound exit from the A2 at Bean junction closed overnight from Monday 5 to Friday 9 December. To leave  at Bean, travel to the Ebbsfleet junction & return on the A2 London-bound.

The coastbound entry to the A2 at Bean junction will also be closed overnight on Monday 5 December. Use Bean Lane & A296 Watling Street to join A2.

Looking ahead

Diversion route is via A2070, A259, A261, A20, M20 & back to the A2070. Non-motorway traffic should use the A20.
