Thirteen People have been Killed after a terror attack in Barcelona
Police have now confirmed one fatality and 32 injured – ten seriously – following a terror attack in Barcelona this afternoon. Local news sources are however reporting 13 dead – including one child – and dozens more injured, after a white van ploughed into crowds of people in Barcelona’s busy city centre. Barcelona Police confirmed the shocking incident this afternoon is now being treated a terror attack. According to La Vanguardia newspaper, the van ploughed into ‘dozens’ of people in the busy tourist area of Las Ramblas. The van driver has now escaped on foot after mowing down pedestrians, El Pais reported. Two armed men are said to have entrenched themselves in a bar in Barcelona’s city centre.
