The family of Jessica Baker, the 15-year-old who tragically lost her life in a road traffic collision on the M53 in Wirral, has issued a heartfelt tribute. Jessica died following an incident where a bus struck a reservation near Junction 5, resulting in an overturn.

In their tribute, Jessica’s family described her as a warm-hearted, wonderful daughter, granddaughter, and niece. She was a devoted sister, loyal friend, and a talented climber associated with the Boardroom Climbing Centre Academy. Jessica helped coach younger climbers and competed nationally, inspiring others with her passion for climbing. Starting Year 11 at West Kirby Grammar School, Jessica focused not only on academics but also represented the school in various sports events.
