Trespass Incident at Paddington Station Causes Major Delays

Commuters at London’s busy Paddington Station are facing disruption following a trespass incident that occurred earlier this morning (September 9).

Train services have been severely impacted since around 8am, with delays expected to continue until at least 10am. The incident has caused widespread disruption on the Elizabeth Line, with some trains delayed by up to 30 minutes or cancelled entirely.

Affected routes include services to and from Shenfield, Heathrow Terminal 5, Abbey Wood, Heathrow Terminal 4, as well as Great Western Railway and Heathrow Express services.

National Rail has advised passengers to check for updates before they travel and to seek alternative routes where possible.

Further details on the nature of the trespass incident are still awaited, and British Transport Police have been contacted for additional information.

Commuters are encouraged to monitor travel alerts and plan ahead to minimise delays during the morning rush hour.
