British Transport Police investigating altercation between group of youths at busy East London station
Two people were taken to hospital following a reported assault at Romford Railway Station in East London. Emergency services were called to the scene at around 6.30pm on Tuesday, May 27, following reports of an altercation between a group of youths.
According to British Transport Police, officers were dispatched to the station after receiving reports of violence on the platform area.
A spokesperson confirmed:
“Officers were called to reports of an altercation between a group of youths at Romford Railway Station at around 6.15pm on Tuesday, 27 May. Officers attended, and the incident is currently under investigation. No arrests have been made at this stage.”
