Police have arrested two teenagers on suspicion of animal cruelty following the disturbing deaths of two kittens in Ruislip earlier this month.

The incident, which took place on Saturday, 3 May on Ickenham Road, prompted an outpouring of public concern and a police appeal for witnesses. The Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrests on Friday, 16 May after receiving crucial information from the public.

Arrests Made After Public Appeal

The Met Police issued an appeal on Thursday, 15 May seeking help to identify those involved in the suspected abuse of the animals. Thanks to community engagement and information sharing, two teenagers were taken into custody the following day.
