Storm Isha is making its presence felt across the UK, with flights cancelled, severe weather warnings in place, and travel chaos affecting rail, ferry, and plane passengers. The storm, which is expected to bring 80mph winds, has prompted warnings of a “danger to life” due to its powerful impact.

British Airways has been forced to cancel numerous flights, including a dozen to and from London Heathrow on Sunday afternoon and evening, bringing the total cancellations to 38. Avanti West Coast, which operates train services connecting London Euston with various destinations, has also advised against all travel for the day.
