Armed police descended on Upminster railway station after reports of a man acting suspiciously, prompting a large emergency response on Sunday evening (16 March).
The British Transport Police (BTP) were called to the scene at around 7pm following concerns raised about the behaviour of an individual inside the station on Station Road.
Firearms officers were dispatched alongside other police units, with dramatic footage shared online capturing blue lights flashing as armed officers moved into the station.

Extensive Search Yields No Results
Despite the heavy police presence and a thorough search of the station, no trace of the suspect was found.
