Kent Police are seeking witnesses to an early morning incident near Ashford town centre where a man was assaulted and a woman was threatened. The altercation took place near a petrol station on Beaver Road around 4:30 am on Thursday, 11th July 2024.

Responding to reports of a disturbance involving three men and a woman, officers arrived at the scene to investigate. According to the police, a man known to the parties involved had allegedly made threats towards a woman and assaulted another man before fleeing the scene. The assaulted man reported sustaining bruises, though no injuries were reported for the woman involved.

Those who were in the vicinity of Beaver Road between 4 am and 5 am on the day of the incident are encouraged to contact Kent Police at 01843 222289 with reference number 46/114917/24. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be given to Crimestoppers at 0800 555111 or through their online form.
