Five Arrested Following Serious Assault on Isle of Sheppey

Kent Police was called at 5.52am on Friday 14 June 2024 following a report a man had fallen from a bridge over the A2990 Old Thanet Way to the east of the Greenhill Roundabout.

Emergency services attended and the man, who is in his 40s, was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

The road was closed while the incident was responded to and reopened at around 10.30am.

Officers are investigating the fall and urge anyone who saw what happened or who has dashcam footage from the area between 5.30am and 5.52am to call 01843 222289 quoting reference 14-0127.
