Witnesses To A Fatal Accident In Ash Are Being Encouraged To Come Forward

 

 

 

 

A silver Scania tipper collided with a pedal cyclist on the A257 Ash Bypass near its junction with Pedding Hill around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.

 

 

 

Patrols and the South East Coast Ambulance Service responded, but the cyclist, a man in his 70s, died at the scene.

 

 

 

Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit have asked anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage that could aid their investigations to contact them.
