Woman assaulted on Cycle Track in Shanklin

Did you witness an assault against a 50-year-old woman on a cycle track, near Shanklin and Sandown Golf Course on Tuesday (Feb 23)? At about 10.40am, the 50-year-old woman was walking along the cycle path, when she tried to get hold of her dog, which was near another woman’s feet. It is alleged that the dog-owner was hit by the woman with a walking pole. Police officers would like to speak to the woman to establish what happened. The woman is described as: White woman 50-60-years-old About 5’ 6”-7” tall Slim build Short, wavy, mousey and grey hair She was wearing a black, baggy tracksuit with white stripes, black top, walking boots or trainer and had a black backpack and bright blue walking poles If you have any information please call police on 101 quoting 44160077554
