On Wednesday around 6pm a fire broke out at Sandy Balls Holiday Village in the New Forest, near Fordingbridge, Hampshire. The dog was discovered by crews who went into the lodge to rescue it, according to Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service. The occupant of the vacation home was treated for smoke inhalation, according to the service.
