The Long Eaton Police safer neighbourhood team (SNT) encouraged the public to report any suspicious incidents and shared a picture of the toy skeleton on their Facebook page.

The police said the concerned citizen who made the report acted in good faith, and the officers left the toy with the homeowner to dispose of.
