Appeal for witnesses following collision that left two men with life-threatening injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision that left two people with life-threatening injuries. Road Policing officers were called to Rownhams Lane, at the junction with Hoe Lane, in North Baddesley, at 2.40pm, to reports of a two vehicle collision. The driver of the red BMW, a 73-year-old man from Romsey, and the driver of the red Jaguar Sport, a 57-year-old from North Baddesley, both suffered life-threatening injuries. They were taken to Southampton General Hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment. Officers investigating the exact circumstances of the collision would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who saw either vehicle prior to what happened.
