Appeal for witnesses following fatal collision in Aylesford

Serious Collision Investigation officers are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision near Aylesford. The incident took place at around 12.30pm on Friday 31 May 2019 on Forstal Road at its junction with the entrance to Cobtree Manor Park, and involved a blue ford focus, a blue Suzuki motorcycle and another as yet unidentified vehicle. The motorcyclist, a man in his 70s from the Burham area, was taken to a London hospital with serious injuries where he died on 16 June. His next of kin have been informed. Officers are working to establish the circumstances of the collision and are urging anyone who saw the two vehicles or the motorcycle in the moments leading up to the collision, or who have dash cam footage from the area around the time, to contact them.
