BREAKING: An EasyJet plane at Gatwick Airport has been evacuated after suspicious white powder was found on board. Security personnel boarding the flight where a suspicious white powder has been found A suspicious white powder was apparently found on the aircraft this afternoon, promting the evacuation order. Security personnel are believed to have boarded the plane to examine what risk the unknown substance poses. It comes just hours after a Heathrow-bound Virgin flight from Dubai was also evacuated after a bomb threat was called in. The alerts come hours after 22 people were killed in a terror attack in Manchester. The EasyJet plane has been surrounded by emergency response vehicles as security services arrive at the gate. EasyJet has been contacted for comment about the rapidly unfolding situation.
