Terror arrest at Southend Airport
Police have detained and arrested a man at Southend Airport on suspicion of preparation of acts of terrorism. The Metropolitan Police’s Counter Terrorism Command stopped the 49-year-old on Tuesday after he is understood to bee trying to fly out of the country The man has taken to London’s Paddington green police station, where he remains in police custody Police have also carried out a raid at an address in Essex relating to the arrest.
