Family Retraces Vitoria’s Boat Route on Mother’s Day

Focus on Abandoned Boat and Missing Buoy
Police suspect Vitoria unmoored a boat from a Brightlingsea pontoon on the night she disappeared. Her bag was found near Copperas Road on 9 March, shifting search efforts to that spot. The boat was later found drifting near Bradwell-on-Sea — notably missing a horseshoe-shaped buoyancy aid.
Community Calls for Brazilian Flags to Aid Search
Vitoria’s family is urging the Brazilian community across Essex to display Brazilian flags. They hope this show of solidarity will catch Vitoria’s attention and create a safe space for her to come forward.
Police are pleading with the public to stay vigilant. Anyone with sightings or CCTV footage should call 999 immediately.
