Police in Thurrock have dealt a massive blow to a stolen vehicle ring, seizing cars and machinery worth a staggering £850,000 in just seven days.

Essex Police’s Rural Engagement Team raided a notorious chop shop close to South Ockendon. Inside, they found stolen cars, parts, and bodyshells valued at around £594,000 – including a prized luxury Bentley Continental.
Tracker Tech Cracks Case Wide Open
Sgt Callum Barber revealed that tracker devices were crucial in locating both the stolen goods and the illegal operation. He urged vehicle and machinery owners to fit trackers to protect their assets and help fight theft.
