Chinese caught in Undercover Police sting

Chinese Restaurant Could Lose Licence Over All-Night Karaoke Parties A city centre Chinese restauraunt has been offering customers all-night drinking sessions, for just £20, in three karaoke rooms, Police have revealed. Melody’s Chinese Restauraunt, next to McDonalds in Commerical Road, could now face losing its license after officers discovered the illegal all-night karaoke parties on three seperate occassions this year. Melody is currently only licensed until 11pm in the evening. Detectives discovered late night revellers eating, drinking and smoking on the premises for as little as a £20 cover charge…which is incredibly reasonably priced. Hampshire Police have now called for the restaurants license to be revoked.
