Emergency Services Respond to Incident at Windsor House in Camden

Emergency crews rushed to a flat in Windsor House, Cumberland Market, Camden this evening following reports of a suspected chemical suicide.

At approximately 6p.m., emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and London Fire Brigade (LFB), responded to Flat  at Windsor House, where canisters believed to contain hazardous substances were found on scene.
A source for the London Ambulance Service said:

“We responded to an incident on Cumberland Market this evening where a person was sadly pronounced deceased. Crews identified chemical hazards, and specialist teams were called in to assist.”

Local residents have been advised to avoid the area while emergency operations continue.

An update from the London Ambulance service: A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said:

“We were called at 4.52pm yesterday (19 June) to reports of an unwell person in Cumberland Market, NW1.

“We sent an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer to the scene.

“Sadly a person was found dead at the scene.”
