A Hertfordshire drug dealer has been locked up after trying to import a firearm and stockpiling deadly weapons. The National Crime Agency revealed the shocking details of the bust.
DEA-Style Sting Stops Gun Import
19-year-old Henri Nikolli, from Potters Bar, placed an order with a US company in March 2025 for a suspicious “Canine Training Kit”. But undercover agents at the US Department of Homeland Security intercepted the package, uncovering a 9mm Forward Venting Blank Firing handgun plus a firearm kit including a magazine, brush, and muzzle adapter.
Armed and Dangerous at Home
Nikolli was arrested on 10 April 2025 outside his family’s property. Police discovered three functioning antique firearms modified to fire modern ammunition. They also found tools to make and adapt guns, along with live and spent ammo.
But the haul didn’t end there. Officers uncovered a cannabis grow set-up with a large tent and remnants of plants. Dealer “snap bags”, scales, frozen bags of herbal cannabis, and cannabis seeds chilling in the fridge painted a clear picture of a drug operation.
More Weapons and Evidence Found
Raids on Nikolli’s car and home turned up even more ammunition, knives, mobile phones, and multiple SIM cards. A notebook detailing firearm manufacturing tools was added to the case against him.
In January 2026, Nikolli pleaded guilty to multiple charges at St Albans Crown Court. Today, Monday, 30 March, he was jailed for six years and three months.
The Organised Crime Partnership, a joint effort between the National Crime Agency and the Metropolitan Police Service, led the investigation.
