A man has been locked up for nine and a half years after being found guilty of raping a vulnerable 15-year-old girl in Stockport.
How Farjam Targeted His Victim
Mohsen Farjam, 41, of no fixed address, was convicted at Manchester Crown Court on 5 March for multiple sex offences. He pled guilty to two counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault, and one count of sexual assault by penetration.
The chilling attack happened back in July 2018. The girl, who has a neurodevelopmental condition, was alone when Farjam spotted her looking upset. Pretending to be homeless and sympathetic, he duped her into getting food and charging her devices.
Deceptive Grooming Leads to Horrific Assault
Farjam then took the girl to a tent on the outskirts of Stockport, where he lived. There, he offered her vodka and began to abuse her while claiming she looked “nervous.” What followed was a terrifying sexual assault and rape.
This grim case is a stark reminder of the dangers vulnerable youngsters face and the relentless work of officers to bring predators to justice.
