Large Police presense in Shanklin
A number of officers from Hampshire Constablary have been called to Shanklin this evening. (Saturday) Residents reported a number of Police vehicles and a dog unit in arriving in a road on blue lights. A number of officers are also present. It follows earlier reports of a car screeching and than a sound of it crashing heard in near by Brook road. It is unclear if the two are connected and if officers are attempting to track down a driver or person who has made off. More to follow
