65-Year-Old Anthony Clarke Arrested
Police have charged Anthony Clarke, 65, from Mortimer,
Reading, after a major investigation by
Thames Valley Police. Clarke faces three counts of sexual assault linked to separate attacks across West Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
Three Separate Attacks Spanning Nearly Four Years
- 13 September 2022 – Incident on Ewing Way, Newbury
- 30 May 2025 – Incident on Johnson Road, High Wycombe
- 17 June 2025 – Incident on Holmsdale Close, Iver
The alleged assaults occurred at these locations over a period of almost four years, raising serious concerns in local communities.
Bailed and Facing Court Next Month
Clarke was charged on Sunday, 29 March 2026, and released on bail. He is due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 29 April 2026. Thames Valley Police continue their investigation and urge anyone with information to come forward.
