A 53-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of an 82-year-old in Camden.
Swift Arrest in Camden Killing
Billy O’Reilly, from Royal Free Square, Islington, was charged just one day after the tragic incident on Thursday, 5 March. The victim was found dead at a property on West End Lane, NW6, around 11:25am.
Police and Paramedics Rush to the Scene
Officers arrived quickly after receiving welfare concerns for the elderly man. Paramedics confirmed the man’s death upon arrival. O’Reilly was arrested inside the house within minutes.
Next Steps in Court
O’Reilly is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on Saturday, 7 March to face the charge.
