Man charged with Murder of Jason Williams
Detectives have tonight (Friday 23 February) charged a man with the murder of Jason Williams in Basingstoke. The charge comes after the 41-year-old’s body was found in Russell Howard Park in Basingstoke shortly before 1.30am on Tuesday 20 February. David John Brewer, 34, of West Ham Close, Basingstoke, has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 24 February. A 37-year-old man from Basingstoke has been released from police custody but remains under investigation.
